Description The Statistics and Data Analysis Program of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev invites applications for a tenure-track position in Statistics, beginning the 2026-27 academic year
Basic Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Econometrics,  Statistical Machine Learning, Data Science, or other closely related areas by the employment start date.  The ideal candidate will be an innovative scholar, coming to the end of a successful post-doc, advancing statistical theory and its applications to real-world data.
Successful candidates are expected to develop and maintain an active research agenda and to mentor senior undergraduate and graduate students of data science programs at Ben-Gurion University.
This position would be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level probability and statistics courses in Hebrew and English. Examples include such courses as Introduction to Probability, Statistical Inference, and Statistical Modeling.
The successful candidate will join the academic department most suitable to her / his research interests.
